Planet Freeware ( http://planetfreeware.org ) is planning to put together an advertisement campaign for freeware games ( well and for itself i think ) by having members of those game communities to make a commercial for that game. The commercials will be posted on youtube, google video, and any other video sites we can find. Are there any volunteers to help edit a video for the Nexuiz commercial? If you're interested in helping please post here. This goes out mainly to people with video editing experience but we'll take anyone we can get.
Other communities that were asked to participate include alienarena, tremolous, warsow and cube/sauberbraten..

I'd love to, but I lack the time tbh. Is there a deadline for this ? Because I would have time to do so in my holidays which start mid of february 2007. I did several movies like that before.

Right now that stuff is in the planing state so they are trying to find out how big the response will be. I do not know when it will really start..

I have vid editing exp and I like to help too, but also lack the time. But if it is needed I think I can spare some of my precious freetime.

I can do some gameplay shots, and mabie edit AVI clips together. What we really would need is a voice actor and someone to write it.

I'd like to try this one. Why not? I have some video editing skills and I'm willing to make some room for this one. The only thing I need is raw material. As I'm not a highly skilled Nexuiz player, I'd rather use some other users videos to come up with the most of this game. Of course extra voices, sounds and sound fx would be nice to have along so they can enrich the commercial.

So, has anyone made the effort or I'll be the lucky one to give it a shot?

I don't have time and experience with this kind of stuff but I'll post gameplay footage if I find anything interesting among the stuff I recorded over time (especially enstagib stuff). And of course I'll keep an eye on this topic .
