Chat box position

Since the recent updates (which are generally great btw), the chat box on my install has been moved into a mid-low left-hand side area, rather than top left. As this is in the main gameplay area (rather than the "sky" area), it is hard to see chat incoming (and blindsides me on the left as well). How do I move it back to its previous position to cope with my ageing eyesight?

I think current method is much better than before.

its better now yes. But maybe the text should have a shadow (r_textshadow 1).

You can disable the new chat area feature and go back to as it was before by setting con_chat 0.

Thanks for that :thumbup: - I agree that many will prefer the new position, but it's nice for those that don't to be able to stay with the old setup too.
