Features that will attract more people to nexuiz

For now just a funny note on that picture.. Someone is shooting that couch and this creates sparks.. have you even seen a couch that soft enough to sit on but is hard enough to stop and vaporise bullets??? That couch should look like a swiss cheese and those two guys hidding behind it too!

i'd say it's only a cosmetic problem in the presentation of first person weapon appearance and their sounds as well as pain feedback.

I basically agree with ASL, I also would like more exciting maps and other stuff. But weapons, vehicles, grappling hooks and that stuff probably wouldn't happen in the original Nexuiz, I'm thinking more of making a mod like that, that has other weapons and stuff. Mainly because I don't think anyone would want to create new stuff for the original mod of Nexuiz and if they did, the new things maybe wouldn't be appreciated by the folks playing now. So I think a mod would be the best solution.

Ive got an idea for free advertizing. We can get listed on valve's steam (not sure how, but gmod is on there...) so people would know that we exist. Also mabie get a review on gamespot, or some gaming magazine. I know one person did one, but that unfortunately is not enough.

I had a look at the article in that (far too expensive, thats why not very popular) magazine, the ingame pics really shocked me. Whaaa crappy grephics!!!

yes, I agree warsow has bad graphics and stuff like that. It's not even that fun to play. It does have some neat features though.

But I just sent an email to PC Gamer magazine, hopefully they will publish something. Also, if you have a gamespot account add nexuiz to your games list! if not, you can get one at http://www.gamespot.com/ and then add it to your list. Gamespot is a really great site anyway, even if you don't play games 24/7.

edit: My friend is on gamespot, he's a die hard gamespot fan, he's been on there for ever and he's said they don't do anything with your address. (BTW you may know him better as the "angry sony fanboy")

How about more languages packs? Like obi_wan created. Maybe if we could have a template for translations it would be easier. I can do Polish translation, but not right now. When i will pass few exams i will try to make it.
