Features that will attract more people to nexuiz

Sounds for jumping. Every FPS I have played have had some type of sound when you jump. Just one off the top of my head. Keep up the great work.

Because there is a loud sound when landing I think this is overkill. But that's just me.

There were a lot of sexy mockups made at the old forum; unfortunately, most of them required menu code rewrites to be worth anything.

No i agree the landing sound is much better then a jump sound.

Jump sound?? Why on earth do you want such a disgusting thing??? This reminds me It's these "little" differences that make Nexuiz so great...

+ And could there be an alternative to the menu? I believe Legends had an option to choose between 3 different menu layouts and colors.

I think there should be a jump sound, but not a very assuming one (like a shallow grunt). Like in splinter cell

I have just a few things:

Server list should be setup better. I'm talking like, buttons that narrow down your searches (i.e. don't display empty/full servers button) and an IP join button (Though you can just join via the terminal ) possibly something that shows the status of the server (i.e. who's on server specs, server info etc. etc.).

Sounds are kinda funky, I'm not saying they are bad, but a few things could be improved on. Music possibly, but the weapon sounds are okay.

Then one last thing, most people do not realize this but Nexuiz could use a HEADSHOT feature.

It has been tried.. it was lame and didnt fit the play style of nexuiz.

headhsots are lame, leave them in UT and leave them there for good.

If I liked headshots I'd play UT, no Nexuiz
