problem with the new cl_capture_video (solved)

I explain my problem :

The recording the video under nexuiz run well.
I can looked it under VLC without problem.
But when I want to open my .avi file with VirtualDubMod I have the following error:
“Error decompressing video frame 0: the source acceptable image format is not. (error codes -2)"
And I can't open it on AfterEffect or Premiere .

Someone know what happen ?

WTFF? Programs can load a compressed file format but not the same thing uncompressed? Who did pay those programmers? I just do not get why a program should do this but i understand that someone deserves to be slapped pretty hard

Do other platforms then windows also have so stupid programs and does anyone has a tip how to 'fix' it in case?

Well, uncompressed AVI is in fact unusual... so it is not surprising if some programs can't work with it.

However, video EDITING programs SHOULD understand it.

Well, VLC can recode to other codecs, and so can mencoder.

Well, VLC uses ffmpeg (which decodes basically every format on earth) AFAIK instead of using DirectShow to get a decoder.

Seems Windows doesn't ship with a DirectShow YUV decoder by default. So blame Microsoft (always safe).
