Hey I just downloaded this game and I love it! I never thought a game that was free could be so much fun. Does anybody know any good lag free servers? My ping is usually at 40 but it sure doesn't feel like it, and no its not computer lag. Anyways this really is a fun game iv played it more than BF2 or UT2004 today.

PS: My user name should be shaCOnbacon could a admin fix that for me I stupidly misspelled my nick name.

About that ping don't worry. 40, even up to 60 might be ok to play with. You prob never will feel that lag anyways. I have never felt any lag under 100. It usually are between 0-60 on good servers. I always have at least 30 (and so should everyone else have) on servers close to me. But if you pick a server close to you, you should be ok.

Are you sure its lag or maybe some bad fps? A ping of 40 is perfect for online play.. but also see if its stable or if you got PL (packetloss) thats a very evil thing. And welcome

My fps is usually 150 or around there im starting to think its more just others lagging not me.

the FPS does dip alot, especially on certain maps, like when you have dynamic shadows and lighting on in slimepit. But if it's more consistent, it's most likely packet loss.

You don't need an admin for that. Just enter "Profile" and change your nick...

Well the netcode witll get a rework in the next version but it might be nice to know if you have new insides into if its really lag, packetloss or fps afterall..
