Hello , good job on the game guys! I am a former UT player and this game really brought me back. I have just started the game and am wondering if there are plans for CTF maps. I did play on a CTF server last nite, but wondering if that was a mod or if it was actual CTF game. Anyways looking forward to playing more and see you all on the servers.

There are lots of CTF maps. Not all of them are in the standard game pack (but there are some to start with) and some you won't even find in the 35 map pack (also available for download on this site), but on various servers or wherever people decide to post them.

In the SP Campaign, level 10 is a CTF-type match.

If you click 'Create' and then go to the 'Filter' option (just above the map picture) you can select a filter for the type of map you want, including CTF and many others .

CTF maps haven't been a big priority for the main releases in the past, but the community has created a lot of custom maps that a lot of CTF servers run. There's some really good ones out there.

Yes CTF is a game mode included in Nexuiz.. The main game only has three CTF maps if i remember correctly but the community has create a lot of CTF maps and you probably downloaded on of those maps.

Hey thanks for the info. I have to get used to those grappling hooks, that stuff is wild. I also was reading other posts on the site about the game and I heard about it through Maximum PC magazine and it came on their Utilities disk. Good thing I tried it. Anyways thanks for the welcome and hope to see ya on the servers.

The hook if off by default and only very few servers enable it..
