Frenchpack Updated !

Postby obi_wan » Mon Mar 19, 2007 11:03 am

I just updated the nexuiz french translation.

The archive is available there for download, all instructions in the readme file : http://www.free-fps.com/download/frenchpack.zip

And for english people who just want some different menu buttons, i made an english version of the frenchpack's buttons, available here : http://www.free-fps.com/download/menu_btns.zip

Feedback is appreciated as always :) !

Woohoo !
Merci Obi =)

I just install it and it look good for the moment, maybe if you could change the looks of the buttons at the bottom left "Credit, Instant Action and Demos" I think. (not really need to traduce)
I hope that with the futur nexuiz version we will can change language for all the content (client and serveur messages)

Thx for the job

edit : the pings of the server list isn't colored anymore ... ex : >150 : red. <50 : green. I have only black

Frenchpack has been updated for Nexuiz 2.3
Same download link, same installation process.

Sorry for the time it takes me everytime to update this patch, but it's a bit hard to seek what's been changed in the menus each time and i have less and less time. Anyway i'll keep trying to keep it up to date.

Cuizi is right, my frenchpack makes the coloured list all black... don't manage to find why atm, i'll look at it better asap.

And well, if a Nexuiz team member reads me, i'd really be happy to know if you plan to rework this menu one day... because it'd be really great to separate contents and display... and give it a new appearence... just like more 'ergonomic'
Actually i'd be ready to work on it (gfx & code) if someone could take a bit time to explain me how it works correctly before i begin.

Fixed: http://kadaverjack.planetnexuiz.de/tmp/frenchpack.pk3
(i also deleted constants.menu & templates.menu since they didn't caontain any translations)

That's the change you missed btw: http://tinyurl.com/3bhw4n

And you should really use svn for stuff like that, since tracking changes manually is a real pita ;)

Hehe yes i'm alive... ;) though we don't have that much time to play, parksto and me are maintaining the batservers, and i keep trying to update the frenchpack as soon as i can when a new nexuiz version is released (i'm impressed how many times it's been downloaded... if i remember well it's more than 2000 times :) pretty good for something i thought would be unusefull when i began).
So yes i perhaps look dead but be sure i keep an eye on Nexuiz's activity ;) ...

Thanks kadaver for fixing and explaination. I'll try to follow your advise and learn a bit how svn works, so that i'll be a bit faster next times :)
