[MAP] castlebunker (alpha) - A castle vs a bunker

Postby ultimate_evil » Thu Mar 22, 2007 2:25 am

A castle vs a bunker.

This will be a CTF map.

(a few brushes need my custom opensource textures but the rest is normal nexuiz textures).

What do you think of it?

BSP 37 megs.

Map file 7 megs.

Tell me what you think.
I didn't take sshots as I don't have a good rig (just a nice laptop that serves me well).

Try playing in dm mode with 31 bots, they battle over the channel and all :D.

If anyone would post screen shots it will be apreciated (and give your thoughts and how I should go about this map (it is ment to be big, no scaling down advice please :) ).

Also each base is ment to be very hard to infultrate.

The castle's flag will be in the flag room next to the library (where the globe is).

(I had to buy a 1 gig stick (in addition to my 512 stick (I had 700 megs of ram in the laptop)) just to beable to do compile vis and lighting on lowmem (lighting now takes 91% of 1.5gigs ram in low mem to compile)).

Explain? Search for mikeusa on the web and you will find out why he is not welcome here or on the debian mailing lists and i guess every other sane place in the web.. Even though he keeps comming back with different names and crappy stuff he is still not welcome..
And changes are VERY VERY LOW that this is not mikeusa..

esteel: this map is an alpha but it is not crappy. Yes I do believe that people may download a 37 meg file to look at a castle map. 37 megs is not alot. Are you poor? Can't afford broadband?

I'm not that poor...

You don't have to dis people's maps you haven't even seen.
I guess what they say about this community is true.

Download the 7 meg .map and compile it yourself if you are so outrageously poor that you can't afford broadband.

Man... I bet you wish you had my connection, or my talent.
You have neither it seems :).
(Or my time).

Look at the map before you judge please. It's also an alpha.

I make maps because I like to.

Mike: i'm through with you.. you had several chances and you screwed all of them so do not expect me to look at more of your 'great maps'.. That 'crap' comment was aimed at your other maps but i do not really expect this one to be any better.
37mb for a bsp file is simply insane and would probably be reduced to 10mb if you had it zipped but i guess you want to spend more of your precious time with mocking around instead. Why should i bother to download that thing if you did not even bother to zip it up?

Your pity tries to insult me or the community will also not help with this.
Or to borrow your words: I close threads because i like to.
