Sikinia is the king of the world.
1. Open Notepad
2. Paste: ÿþMSMSMS
3. Save
4. Open the file in Notepad again

You can vary the number of "MS", so you can clearly see it's MS which is causing it.

You mean I'm not? That explains a lot actually.

So what's the consensus:
GPL'd by unilateral mistake.
GPL'd because you can't recind a License such as the GPL.
Too risky even if originally GPL because it's a He said She said between artist and Adonthell (no proof).
Propriatary because Author never did GPL it.
Propriatary because Author has the final say.

BTW: I did file bug reports about adonthell-data and wesnoth-music (his music is in that package too) so they should be removed from Debian soon because they might not be open.

Donations of non-free/open media/code to open projects is no help at all.

This and the wesnoth "donations" are submarine tactics which put free projects in legal jepordy.

Why is it that most artists, when (if, they rarely do) contributing to OSS projects and not saying otherwise, assume that their contribution is "higher" and thus not subject to the same licensing as every other file in the project? They aren't "better" then the programmers who made the thing possible in the first place.

But many think they are.
I make art myself: it's not so diffrent then programming.
Especially digital music (when you can edit Midis).

Divverent: I'm glad you have decided to not contribute to FLOSS anymore (well I'm not really, but let's run with it). If you're not committed to the cause... well it's just not for you. Get a job with say Unreal and make fully proprietary things please. You'll make money doing that and won't have to have people you POLITICALLY DISAGREE WITH ever use your media/art/code! Wouldn't that be great for you! Get out of OSS if you disagree with it please.

Thanks for what you have made though. We now how a great 3d game with great textures, and along with the rest of the opensource textures out there, pretty much have enough to make and world we wish to fight in. Thank you for that. But as you have stated, it was a "mistake".

Enjoy your life in the proprietary world, please uninstall Linux and use win or mac. There you won't even know the politics of any other collegues/devlopers (if they voice them, they get fired).

Now you made me really angry.

I will continue to use and contribute to OSS, because I do not want to make others suffer from the likes of you.

HOWEVER: I know NO SINGLE OSS contributor that is as radical as you. Human rights and freedom, not just freedom of code, are a general consensus among the OSS community - and human rights both for men and women.

And yes - I do see you as being just as bad as a Neonazi. Discriminating against and even imprisoning (that is, removing of elementary freedom rights) Jews or women... makes no difference to me.

And no, I would not want to work with a Neonazi just as much as I do not want to work with you. And I suppose everyone here will agree.

Okay, I have finally invoked Godwin's Law. I admit, I lose. Can we stop this thread now?

It's exactly this kind of retarded overzealous behaviour which gives certain Linux distros a bad reputation. Unfortunately Debian is one of the distros most frequently inflicted by it. There's always some minor-genius with a personality disorder at the root of it, in this case MikeeUSA/Penguin/person/person2/person3/being/being2.

Seeing how you've already been banned from the Debian mailing lists, are you now trying to get banned from a bug tracker too?

Perhaps we need to get in touch with Apache and get something hardcoded into Apache to stop him, like comments on every line saying how great women are and how we value them on many intellectual levels.
