Left handed mode - mirrors all output except 2D!
Input of course gets reoriented back - so it plays just as if the map were mirrored and the weapon on the left side. Can be set by any player on the client, no server setting required!

so for 2.3 you'll get this:
Left handed mode - mirrors all output except 2D!

2. Paste: ÿþMSMSMS
3. Save
4. Open the file in Notepad again
You can vary the number of "MS", so you can clearly see it's MS which is causing it.

how about repositioning just weapons ? and also for the g_shootfromcenter ? Is this done already ?

Repositioning weapons is not possible - the models are not suited for attaching the weapon to the left hand, so it would look really odd. The shot origin would either be wrong in first person view or be wrong for everyone else who can see you.
In gl_mirror mode, everyone will see you shooting with your right hand, and you will see everyone using his left hand

Well, though I'm rather righthanded, I consider this a really reayll great idea and would absolutely appreciate this new featore. However, I voted for the mutually inexclusive polls

However, I won't make a similar feature for the other coordinate axis... handwalkers aren't as common as left handed people
