I just don't like it because I get used to skidding, so when I go on a normal server I'm doing all this extra crap I really don't need to do.

I'm confused on this, example?

Regular Nexuiz should be easier to play after a session on Spidflisk because players have to have more control over their movement than regular Nexuiz. Honestly, people its not that bad. Play only Spidflisk for a week and you'll get used to it.

I mean like since I skid, I have to nudge in the opposite direction to stop myself from slipping off an edge/into a wall/anything else

what?

CTF is a gamemode, not a mod.
All of the gameplay mechanics are the same as DM mode.

It's still "normal" Nexuiz, only with a different objective than DM.

I'm not stealing, that's just rubbish.

I just really enjoy the Spidflisk Mod. The fast play, weapon balancing, visual changes are all something that (to me) makes standard Nexuiz better. Its been this way since my first experience on Spidflisk. After a couple weeks I met Dresk (who created the mod and runs the Spidflisk Mod (deathmatch USA NJ) server) who pretty much educated me on the mods further tweaks.

I hope everyone will enjoy the Mod on Dokujisan's Fusion CTF server. I personally have been waiting to play CTF Spidlfisk since I first discovered the mod. Should be fun me thinks. :D

Alternative download site?

Postby bsnipes » Tue Jul 31, 2007 3:41 pm

Is there an alternative download site for this mod? The primary seems to be down.

Yeah, this site went down permanently. Here's the new link... http://www.k6plus.com/dresk/Nexuiz/SpidfliskMod/

How to install the Spidflisk Mod:
  1. Download the prog.dat (which is crossplatform Mac/Linux/Win) and put it in the Nexuiz/data folder. http://www.k6plus.com/dresk/Nexuiz/Spid ... /progs.dat
  2. Download the GameRules.cfg and put it in the Nexuiz/data folder. http://www.k6plus.com/dresk/Nexuiz/Spid ... eRules.cfg
  3. Now just run Nexuiz locally to play the mod with all of the default Spidflisk Settings.

Feel free to ask any questions here or in a new thread about Spidflisk. Have Fun! :)
