Regarding the slight lag.. Wait for 2.4.1 (hopefully within one week) or try to open the ingame console and enter:
cl_netinputpacketsperserverpacket 4
the default is 2..

Thanks for that. Now I need to redownload Nexuiz for both Linux and Windows

(I made the stupid mistake of deleting it because it was too distracting, but I end up playing it on Linux

)

Maybe i just misunderstood.. but the nexuiz-24.zip contains all you need for windows, linux and mac so you really just need to download it ONCE.. and there will also be a patch that turns 2.4 into 2.4.1 so its not like you have to download very much
