I disagree. I preffer to know who I'm playing with.. some movement patternt work better agains some players than others, so seeing who you are playing is qute essential some times.

Really i say it again, skilled players that play with grey or green soldier are really lamers and i can't stand them. They make me so much nervous that i can focus on them for 3 or 4 match, thinking only about killing them, not even taking care to the scores or whatever.

I think that when you reached a certain gaming level, you have to make yourself easy to see, coz its more fair for noobs and for the others.
But its all about gaming manners, and as Nexuiz players are really a polite and fair community i won't complain anymore

Nah i dislike the idea to have random colors for the players because i want to be in controls of what i look like. And as tChr said i'm well known for my red armored carni

Hmm it just came to my mind that if people copied the old config.cfg file into the the new Nex2.0 directory they would still be gray but i guess non of those people that do not change their color will do something like this. In Future versions this will not happen anymore as variables with default values (like a unchanged player color) are no longer saved.
Guess you are right about the skill. Hmm you can vote for brightskins and when Nexuiz will mature more it might be possible to do this client side..
