I was discussing this with people recently and nobody has a clear answer to this question.
How do armor and health function when taking damage?
I thought of trying to run experiments to figure it out, but then I thought I might as well just ask and see if a dev can answer it.
My assumption (and the assumption of others) was that armor and health share the damage when someone gets hit with a weapon. But I just did a simple test where I did a laser jump and it took more armor off than health. Another question is whether the effects are different with different weapons. Is there a scenario where armor doesn't help at all?
