LMS server

Since I miss playing LMS, and I have a server to spare at work (the new mail server wich isnt put into use yet) I deceided to set up an 8 slot LMS server.

I reinstalled the machine just now, and its up and running at lms.tchr.no. It is a p4 3GHz with 2GB ram and 2x500GB SATA2/16MB in mirroring. Ovierkill i guess the word is :D http://www.apario.org/bilder/index.php?gallery=%2Fgalleries%2Fcomputers%2Fjennifer

KadaverJack sent me the backports of the bugfix for 1.5, so when I get home tonight I'll set it up.

I don'T knw if tChr is finished wtih his LMS server, but it's online and usable.

I tried it out and it's running like hell :D

I have now added all maps to the loop. The default lms mapcfgs in 1.5 only include about half of the maps, the mapcfgs for the other maps can be found at http://excalibur.nvg.ntnu.no/nexuiz/pk3s/lms_missing_mapcfgs.pk3

i really like LMS mode but i noticed a little thing : when there are bots on the server, if no human has lives left and that two bots are left, the game should stop... coz if bots stay sticked in a wall, it can take a lotta time...

I've noticed that bot issue too.. especially on the oil rig :D

another useful improvement would be an anti-camping feature... i remember one day i played on a server where camping was punished.
It would solve two problems together :
- bots when there are only two bots left that dont move...
- and also the f****** campers... coz it's easy to hide (and to win...) in LMS mode if camping is not punished.

That feature will be in 1.6. Also the bots will move a lot more and they will search for other players ;)
