fire rate

I'm using 2.4.2 & occasionally host a game for me & a couple of friends. I thought a fast Minsta would make a change but I cant alter the fire rate.

Some old Quake info suggested something like: 'seta sv_firerate 0.50' but nothing changed.

Is this possible? If so could you point me in the right direction?

You can change it with the cvar g_balance_minstagib_nex_refire.

Here's a new tool from nexuiz ninjaz where you can search cvars and commands quickly.

It searchs all fields and returns both cvars and commands. You can also filter the results. It's already come in handy for me a few times this week.
