I am all for it, but the only existing free system (Mumble) is really hard to integrate. Moving players into the right channel of their team means ACL editing at runtime, and exactly that is very hard to do at the moment (thanks to it using a weird DCOP interface for that purpose).
If there were a simple way to edit ACLs by means of a simple TCP connection with ASCII data (and no weird interface forcing to embed a huge library like Qt and writing lots of stuff in C++), it would have been already done.
1. Open Notepad
2. Paste: ÿþMSMSMS
3. Save
4. Open the file in Notepad again
You can vary the number of "MS", so you can clearly see it's MS which is causing it.
