I think all the winners will have something like that, others will take less time.
I really apreciate working on that, the problems for now are :

- I make a lot "switching" between premiere and aftereffect (I don't have super adobe magic link). I'm not a pro, I need your help on working format between the 2 softwares (I need the both).
- My gf back from a long travel, I'll have less time to work on it.

you should use another font for the beginning.

edit: at first i had something about 15kb/s and then it failed. i started it again and i had around 300

Well i'm having problems with the kind of music, but i guess thats me and my taste. Also i think the basis movie was too light (high gamma) because at first i thought there were not even dynamic lights (from the rocket) enabled. But then i noticed its just the high gamma. To compare see this: http://esteel.planetnexuiz.de/nexuiz/vi ... mortar.avi (i know its a bit inaccurate because of my ping and the images seem a bit washed out but i'm too lazy to rerecord/reencode)
Also i hope this was just because its a trailer and in the final version the text-to-content ammount will be smaller. An other thing i'm not sure how to improve is the loudness of the hittone. Esp. in slowmo its hardy audible. Too bad is also needs an svn nexuiz server but the svn engine does support different loudness for different effects.. Maybe when recording one can use a pumped-up version of the hittone? Both would mean rerecording which i guess is too late now. Maybe for the next one..

The good thing is the movie is really smooth, the frag is great and the editing is also fine. Well done!

hmm, I downloaded it twice (once with firefox, once with IE), and I couldn't open the file neither with VLC nor with media player classic. What am I doing wrong :p ?

i played it back with totem.. but you are right vlc also can't play it for me. strange. maybe i'll have to reencode it after all

Dunno why you can't watch it with VLC.
I can watch it with quicktime player and VLC (mac os x).

But no way that my movie can't be watchable by everyone.

I can do a divx or xvid compression for tomorow at the same quality.

Ok, I didn't work on contrast / brightness / gamma yet. I supposed that the original light of green video was fine.

I didn't mix the sound. I just imported the video with the sound and add the mp3.
The music have over-basses. That's a good point for me. Because I wanna something heavy.
The thing is, the sound in slowmo produce low tones too.
But I ear the trailer without images and I liked it, them I don't mix it.
I dunno anything in audio mixing :/

I'm used to have a very high gamma while playing. Yours is to much dark for me. That's my tastes =). But maybe make more darker effects than lighter.

I think greens (and for sure mine) comment about vlc being unable to play it was regarding my link/movie.. for some reason vlc can't.

And yes, i think making the movie a bit darker would help the quality.. the light effects in my short movie should make people go: awww cool

I just try it on win xp with VLC.
A bit less quality than on mac os. But runs fine.
(Linux users, just switch dudes =) )
