Will Nexuiz be supporting the Ageia PhysX Processor addin card
in the future ?

Check out http://www.ageia.com/ for more details on this PCI Card

No, for 3 reasons:
1) Nexuiz doesn't use any advanced physics that would benefit from such a card
2) i very much doubt that their SDK could be used in GPL projects
and 3) it only works on windows so far

1. It does seem to be gettng more lagy each verison . Why not add support for the cool physics if you have the card

2. Would it really be a bad thing making different exe's for different os's

3. Ageia SDK is now released for free

It's released free as in free beer, that's not enough for Nexuiz. The SDK is not GPL compatible and probably never will be.

Because we can't expect such cards to be running on dedicated servers. Most of these don't even run Windows...

And - your "lag" is for sure not caused by server load, but a combined effect of high latency and prediction accuracy problems (could get improved using CSQC, but not completely solved) and low fps (every version uses more features not all graphics cards can do efficiently, AND new maps tend to end up more complex that previous ones).
1. Open Notepad
2. Paste: ÿþMSMSMS
3. Save
4. Open the file in Notepad again

You can vary the number of "MS", so you can clearly see it's MS which is causing it.

Also, those cards are expensive enough to make spending the money on a fast dual-core CPU a more economic option to boost performance, and as CPU prices drop this is becoming more and more of a no-brainer, especially since most game titles don't actually use the card.

The GPL compatibility issue probably won't be resolved until FOSS drivers exist for those cards (don't hold your breath) or there is an intermediate library between nex and the card, in a similar way to the OpenGL libraries are intermediate to proprietary video cards.

However, as already mentioned, Nexuiz currently does not have the high-end physics that these cards are intended to accelerate. Perhaps ODE (http://www.ode.org) could be used to add posh physics without the card, but I doubt this would be simple to do.

Through SDL would be one way. Still, we'd need open source drivers.
