I LOVE YOUR GAME

I just wanted to thank whoever the heck made this game, as a long time fan of arena shooters I am very surprised I am just now discovering this gooey glob of open source gaming goodness. I fired up the game for the first time and was honestly shocked at the visual fidelity present (enough to cause my new overclocked radeon 4870 to sweat at 1920 by 1200?!) I was not expecting much but this game gives some professionally created games something to think about. I was so excited by the graphics I got 3 of my buddies on my home lan and proceeded to put the game thru it's paces with a few rounds of that cure for the common day, DEATHMATCH. It was apparent after only a few minutes playing that weapon balance was rock solid and I love the alt fires in the style of unreal tournament (my old love). Needless to say me and all my lan junkie buddies want to thank you dudes for the amount of time you must have spent making this for no money!

Welcome to the game - what I love at least as much as the weapon balance is the movement. If you haven't tried/discovered laser jumping yet, check out this post:

it is also included in the Package as some kind of Readme but who reads that kind of thing? Not me, obviously: I myself learned about most of these things far too late :oP
There are lots of tips on weapon usage and movement that uncover very VERY useful things one really should know because they are just so neat.
