Might i remember people that a certain redmond based company wanted to release a certain OS long ago with LOTS more feature then what you will get next year?

Let's hope it's another 1.2.1
It would be very helpful if people tested some of the newer engine releases over at http://icculus.org/twilight/darkplaces/files and reported if things work better. As your might have noticed none of the developers and especialy none of the engine developers had those sound problems. Its like searching the needle in the haystack when there is not even a needle in your haystack

However people have been investigating this never the less and are trying to fix issues. Well i'm sorry i can't help more right now. I have this "gameplay sound issues" thread open in a browser tab so i do not forget about it and keep thinking about things to try or at least some tips. As i did not yet have coded the engine i'm very out of idea though..
