It's the KA logo! (kinda)
This was shot a while ago in my girlfriend's german book. w00t!

I've had to sign this vial for a chemical experiment, so I've used the logo I'd never overlook :D

The Nexuiz logo is the Chinese character for 'Strength'.

I would infer that character is used more often for the notation of 'Strength', rather than Nexuiz...

which looks similar to the katakana "ka"

katakana KA: カ
chikara kanji (strength): 力

there are some differences of course, and the strength one looks more like it :)

oh it's japanese, not chinese
or well, I dunno chinese characters, maybe that one looks the same?

Pretty much all, if not all, Japanese characters comes from China.
