Welcome to the forum.
I believe this subject has already been gone over numerous times by the devs. At the moment I dont think there is much in the way of plans for this especially since its just as simple to use an outside program like Ventrilo or Teamspeak.

Really? I didnt know there was a TS server for nexuiz. I had assumed there was one, just never looked for it.

2. Paste: ÿþMSMSMS
3. Save
4. Open the file in Notepad again
You can vary the number of "MS", so you can clearly see it's MS which is causing it.

I think it's loud enough in-game, without people shouting in my ear.
Talking is easier than typing, so I'd probably be hearing "Ha, ha, you're dead!" an awful lot.
