My framerate is extremely erratic in this version. In the same map, it ranges wildly from about 20 to 200+, and all on the same map. It's extremely weird.

And everything seems a lot darker. I need to crank up my gamma.

I just checked the values and the shotgun did not change from 1.5. Also the push you get was not changed. This might be your mind playing tricks with you ;)

What kind of hardware do you have again? Did you try exec med.cfg;vid_restart in the console? If that does not help much maybe even exec low.cfg;vid_restart to lower the graphical settings.

There was no change to the brightness/gamma settings.. do you have v_hwgamma 1 ?

First impressions:

SLOW! :(

The gameplay is getting slower and slower imho from the first release. But loadings time reduced very much, and I think it feels a bit smoother again, so great work on the optimalizations! :D

Controlled warfare is an awesome map, being a q1 map felt very quakeish, I feel it very confy :D
But some complains: why can't you fall out on the non-glassed windows? oO

I feel the RL a bit weaker too, but the sg is still kicks a punch. I like the new electro secondary fire, would be good to know how much damage it does (weak, moderate, big?)

There's still a problme with the mg-s fire effect, it's off from the weapon's barrel. A shot to illustrate:

First I felt a bit disturbed about the huge air-controll, but that's not bad at all. I hope nobody posted this before:

how many levels are in the campaign?

after i was surviving level 18 (LMS) the level restart. is this the end?

Yeah i think that was the last one in the forum release. The final release has tweaked the list a bit..

The gameplay speed should not have changed very much, the player still does walk with the same speed as in each of the other releases and now its easier to gaim speed with jumping (just jump in a stright line, no funny stuff like strafejumps, those will even slow you down)

Well ask the mapper :P

The rocket and the shotgun have not changed from 1.5 so it might be your mind tricking you. The electro primary now does only 80 damage and the balls a bit more with a smaller radius though. I'm not totaly sure about the combo damage right now..

There have been tweaks to the muzzle flashes, not sure if its in the forum-test release. Hope its better in 2.0. If not please complain :)

Show PING in the Statslist
and splitt playerteams in the Stats list on Team Deathmatch

Ping is on the todo list, you can see it with the command ping though. Either use bind X ping or bind X +scores which will issue the ping command and also show the scoreboard as long as you press X. Not the same thing but useful till this issue is fixed.

I"m not so sure about the team display though.. Yeah it might need tweaks but now its time for (real) bug fixes first and then new features :)

I totally agree - now it's almost impossible to throw anyone out of the map with the jumpgun! =)

Other than that, I liked it. Though I haven't played 2.0 much yet - time will tell.
