Thanks to those people who sent in demo's so far (morfar, green, esteel)

they are just what i needed, i have alreasdy started work on the movie, im doing the basic synching first, then all of the effects once the synching is complete, im going to try get a irc mate to do the flash work for me,


please keep the demo's coming, i still need a lot more frags to work with people!

did you see the old quake 3 fortress demos, excellent stuff, i have a copy of 2 someplace if your interested.

What software are you using to edit and master your compilation movie?

I'd go with avid,.. but no budget for that righ tnow

Be sure the final thing is in a free format (Theora/Vorbis).

Or even best.. mpeg, wich is an industry standard, supported everywhere, and developed by a joint comitte, free for use, and with open spec.

mpeg patents and control belongs to the ISO, allthough parts and pieces that are owned by different companies, so I see whats your issue.

However that puts no restriction on the data itself, only on algorithms and procedures used to produce or render it.. The data can still be used however the author wishes, and licencedt as such.

I'm not saying not to let it be available under open source and free data formats, I'm all for that. However if you want it to be used in the real worl, also use real world formats.
