Is there a feature like server-side demo recording? Or automatic client-side demo recording?

Neither server side nor automatic recording, that was removed because of being buggy shortly before 2.0. A workaround might be found here: http://www.forums.alientrap.local/viewtopic.php?p=92#92

just downloaded nex2 and played some maps...

WOW I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE IT!!!

i'm impressed by the shiny look and the wonderful new maps, the castle one is FANTASTIC.. and the arena gamemode is interesting too..

A NEW thing I love about Nex:
The hotfix-PK3 files:
keeps the game up-to date with minimal work for the players. No patch files, no new version, just a small file to insert in the data directory. Great
( the fixed bugs are great as well of course )

i definitely dont like the default setting for yielding damage thru walls

it MUST be ON by default, plz...

Actually all quake-based games have this 'feature'. The only thing are changes to the engine.. in that case you have to replace it. But content can be corrected via .pk3 files.

Well i actually like the whole Nexuiz 2.0! Did even donate again
