No, the logo you made won't do. It would turn it into a completely different character and meaning.

Ok, so anyone who's interested can start off by forking my git repo here:
http://github.com/psychcf/nexuiz-classbased/tree/master

Once you've done that, you can then add in whatever you want, and then put in a pull request. Then, I'll look over the stuff and merge it in if everything is ok.

I'm new to the nexuiz community, so hi.

I think that Nexuiz Team Fortress is a great idea and I'd like to help out. I'm no use at all at art or modeling but I'm a decent coder. I've cloned psychcf's tree and hope to help made Nexuiz Team Fortress a reality

YAY!! I've been aching for this since I play Nexuiz --- because I play Nexuiz because ETF died, and nothing but Nexuiz comes close in speed and action.

ETF was a mod for enemy territory, for those who don't know it:

I'd love to help out on this, but preferably small things here and there (code) without any responsibility of not suddenly being away for a month or ten. Would that be any help at all or more of a burden? A huge, random list of stuff that would need to be done/thought about at some point would be neat. Wiki?

I also played ET and then came to Nexuiz. It used to be our LAN party game. Now nexuiz is, and always I have fresh new maps for my friends :D.

I also used to map for Unreal and the the first Unreal Tournament, then switched to linux and never mapped in 3d again untill I found bzflag could support 3rd party maps (I mapped in a texteditor for that) and then Nexuiz. There were many years between switching to linux and the advent of a good fully free/libre/opensource FPS that was a good mapping platform.
