I get pwnd by weapon X, Nerf weapon X NOW, it is retarted that weapon X continues to exist.
Everytime I play nexuiz player Y fucking PWNS me with weapon X. This is clearly because he has weapon X. Destroy weapon X.

Umm, I think when he says "nerf", he means to rebalance the weapons by making them weaker

the way i see it is who cares if you get pwned, weapon doesn't matter, its about skill. i practice everyday with max bots on godlike, and i win 50/50 without the noob guns like the minstanex.

Clearly you don't understand how this community works.
It goes like this:

Some player plays the game for awhile.
Said player feels they are god-like.
Said player, however, constantly pwnd by another player (Y) who uses some weapon.
The Pwnd player then complains for _months_ about some weapon, bringing up said discussion in every tangentially related topic.
Some weapon gets made weaker.
The player is now pwned by another weapon by the same skilled player.
The cycle continues untill all weapons are pretty weak...
Eventually someone notices this and they get jacked up again.
Then the complaining player starts the cycle anew.

You see, some "A-Number one, duke of new york" players CANNOT be beaten, and if they are it is the game's fault!

FYI in pre 1.0, there wasn't even a Nex like weapon in Nexuiz.

Pre 1.0 was before the turn of the century.

I'm just saying what I've seen. You don't have to agree. But when you have alpha complaining about the nex, and the nex continually weakened... one might think his constant complaints have some pull. Also in the past the rocket launcher was weakened because some player compained constantly about that. I remeber when they were also complaining that the crylink was now too strong, or the electro was killing them and they shouldn't die etc.
