I want to make Opposing Castles ONS

Postby tundramagi » Sat Jun 06, 2009 7:26 am

I'm starting to want to make OpposingCastlesONS
That is: a huge terrain map, with the opposingcastles on each side
so complex castles
AND huge map :P
Though the current java-terrain generator doesn't center the terrain map it makes so ... the possible size is limited to 1/4th the area it normally would be.

Can a java coder add the ability to center the generated .map to the java terrain generator.
The biggest map the terraingenerator can make right now without radiant clipping is about the size of spirecontrol. This is because the terrain generator uses 1 sector, rather than all 4 on the XY axis.

(The onslaught generators will, ofcourse, be in the flagrooms)

All that is needed is that it generate the .map centered. Currently it has one corner at the map origin... meaning we can only generate terrain that as big as origin-extends, rather than from extends-extends.
