1on1 Server Configuration

Hello,

I'm making a 1on1 Minstagib and Hook server, and I'd like to know how to make it behave like I've seen [PK]'s do. Specifically, I want to:
  • Ignore spawn-frags;
  • Restart the game immediately when both players join, as opposed to them having to ready up manually;
  • Display the accuracy statistics automatically after the round ends.
The rest of the settings I took from the 1on1 ladder .cfg files, and they seem to be working fine.

Any help would be appreciated.

Many features you describe are not available in vanilla Nexuiz. I'm sure the guys around Thalan created a modification for Nexuiz, which you'll have to get manually.

Yeah, I was told that their server uses a mod. I wonder if they'll share it if I pester them.

ask FISH personally when you see him on a minsta server, if i remember well he was the one who coded all these special minsta stuffs. (his name is a blue ASCII fishbone sth like this O<<<>< )

Eh, why doesn't he submit his patch to the devs? That would be much more convenient :)

The spawnfrag thing can be solved with the spawn shield, but afaik it's a 2.5.2 feature, so only available on the development version so far.

Somebody on the IRC channel suggested I used g_spawnshieldtime, and this cvar seems to exist in 2.5.1, but I haven't noticed it do anything. As for the patch, it seriously should be published for the benefit of the community.

It indeed exists in 2.5.1

Well, it gives you a few seconds of invulnerability when you spawn. The shield disappears when the shielded player shoots, too.

yep mr bougo i heared too so, that fish commited his changes torwards the devs but he didnt receive any replies, so i guess it can still only be obtained from him :P
