ROFL, good ol' fake Quake, I mean Open Arena. Kind of an interesting concept actually: Take Quake 3 and replace everything in it to make it a free game, though I think Nexuiz, UT99, and real Quake 3 beat that game any day.

Well, I think the point of Open Arena was so that it had full compatibility with Q3A mods, not so much to replace it altogether.

Neat little concept. I think it would have been more kick ass if they focused more on making it an original game instead of a free knock off. Nexuiz and Wesnoth are definitely open source at their best with Nexuiz kicking the crap out of the all so disappointing UT3 and only really having the first UT challenging it as far as being the best of it's kind out their.
