Why would the police want to use the same system of measurement as yurop?

It's not about using the same system of measurement as the police per se; it's about making life easier for all of us.

Removing the much less used of the two measurement standards would clear up much confusion, as some Americans are too stupid/lazy/incapable to learn metric or American standard; thus removing one of them will easily keep measurements known across countries.
My will be done.

Ze vhere? The land of chavs and congestion charges is supposed to be using kg for EVARYTHING now, after the unit-related rioting and bombings that is. We still trade horses in guineas though, and b33r in pints*.

* Because asking for "five point six eight times ten to the power of minus four cubic metres" of b33r in a crowded pub is rather challenging, after the first few anyway.

Also, I find this a bit ridiculous to call Americans "fucktards" because of the metric system they were taught to use. What the hell, people? Are Europeans moronic dumbasses because they don't even try measuring temperatures on the Kelvin scale, which is SI thus optimal for any kind of use? :P

Sure, the system itself seems dumb, but why would it be dumb to use it? What's the advantage for most americans to switch to SI units?
Meh.

The US was actually the second country to ratify the metric system. Only France accepted it earlier and even then Napoleon did temporarily repeal it. The only reason why the French introduced it was because at the time of the revolution there were over 70 different feet in use across France so measuring anything was getting impossible. The idea wasn't new anyway as it had been presented to the Royal Society roughly a century earlier.

Please change it to natural units. Electronvolts are so much more useful as they actually have relevance to the real world.

Uhmmmm... The electronvolt is a unit of energy. How about using atomic mass units?
