Let's change the name of this game

I would prefer not having it named in the pubs with a curse word shown, but "CTS" would be fine with me. I know I don't count though so whatev.
I'm gonna call it CTIHCDTFIPP - "complete this impossibly hard course designed to frustrate it's potential players"

I think we should call it vertigo, if the name isn't already taken, it sounds good.

I do like the CTS style maps like space_race_b2 and cyberparcour and would be very sad if for some reason i was not able to play them anymore. Im not able to complete any of them yet but i like it that way, everytime i retry one of those map, i can get a little bit further than the last time i did. I think its a good solution to have servers with only that kind of map and other servers with only the regular race style map. I also like the idea of a 5 star rating system for the CTS maps, as i would try to complete them in the appropriate order of difficulty.

Also, I dislike it alot when people insult each other directly on the forum with crude words. This is the official forum, and its dishonorable to nexuiz when you guys do that.

not really, q3:a-ish, small and favor's spam style game play.

I've been staying out of this thread, but i think reading each post wont do anything. I'm on [-z-] Man's side. You can't just go around ranting and making changes to things just because you dont like something. a selfish dev team just brings down productivity and development and wont go any where. all members of the community must be taken into account. also nexuiz is open source so it is free to be modded at will, so removing game play modes or limiting mapping to certain themes does nothing but push people away. as stated before, "Nexuiz tends to favor the noob" is a bad thing, and takes the game nowhere. and egg and bacon is nothing but a spam box, so why should it be included when cyberparkour, whilst fits the nexuiz 'theme' and showcases some of dp's rendering and physics power and can help people learn cts style maps (which anyone can learn it if they really wanted to instead of just complaining and ranting like the angry german kid) by providing a way that doesn't need strafe-jumping, but wits to see how to get to the finish, and test 99, etc do the same but with portal gun (which isnt in egg and bacon so how can they see that, as well as the 'walker and ewheel, etc' either) not be allowed and the game play scrapped, just because one selfish dev doesn't like them. what you are saying is, if i make a server with my cts or what ever game type, say a new game type or nexball for example, and you don't like the game play or the maps, it can be scrapped and shutdown and removed, this is what happened to all of mikeeUSA's maps, they are pretty much 'Banned' completely from nexuiz.

oh and stuff like this is completely uncalled for.

Deleting posts is fun. Now I will delete Green's "hi mike" post, so it starts with me claiming that evadproject is the most secure map.
