Mod-idea: Zombie wars

Basically the idea goes like this..

All players start on the same team, say red, and are "human", excapt one player who start on different team, say blue, and is the "zombie". The goal of the zombie is to kill all the humans. all the humans that are killed become zombies.

If the Human hit the zombie, the zombie is paralyzed for say.. 10 seconds. so that the human can run away.. The last person to not be a zombie wins.

the spice extend life!
the spice expand conciousness!
the spice is vital to space travel!
sooooo.. tell me what you want, waht you really-really want
I will proceed directly to the intravenous injection of hard drugs, please.

Yeah that sounds really cool. Is it possible to make the zombies faster and more powerfull than humans? That should be cool. *cough*Dawn of the Dead*cough* :P

sounds ok indeed, but hit the zombie? 10 seconds...well, its not hard to hit someone...you'd have to make it a bit more 'harder' to paralyze the zombie :)

idea: let the zombie be kill-able but not gib-able. after 1-2 secs the zombie gets up again.

well.. maybe, but that would requre something like the zombieas actually touching or melee-killing the player to kill them.. faster and stroinger with guns is not very.. fair :)

I'd maybe suggest that the zombie is slower than the player, but has healthregen up to 500 or something.. that way he can take a shit of a beating :)

The topic reminds me of Resident Evil: Outbreak

In this if you are bitten by a zombie the "infection" of the virus that makes you a zombie goes on slowly. The more bites, the faster it goes. Would probably also be a nice idea for such a game mode, imho.
What do you think about it?
