Hi Guys

Nexuiz gets more and more full with n00bs, nerds and kiddies and the "old" players are nearly gone ... also it is sometimes a pity to see the behaviour of some of these players
And they insult the "old" guys too - what a shame ...

So I founded a Community named OldSchool, where only "old" (longtime) players can join.
In meantime you need to get-off the riff-raff! xD The OldSchool Communtiy is free for all old players, who wanna seperate from the "mainstream" and newbish players. We're all Nexuiz-friends and (more or less xD) well skilled and etablished players

But what is an "old"(school) player? Now here is what characterizes these players:

- you still can deal with names like "Herforst Elite"
- you remember the good ol' times of V2.0
- you know old versions of facing_worlds or greatwall (where in the bunker were a nex >D and invisibility in the lava^^)
- you played once with guys like Bloody Knight, Vladimir, the prototype Kiddie jacke93 (lol), or with one of us^^

- all in all the OldSchool members play Nexuiz since a long (long) time and are friendly and respective to other players

No, I do not want to join (my nick already is 63 bytes, cannot add any more tags), but... my comments for that:

- 2.5.* is much better than 2.0, but, the community got worse indeed. 2.0 community with 2.5.* game would WIN
- old facing worlds, CHECK
- old greatwall, CHECK
- bloody knight, vladimir... no idea, don't know them (but did play a bit against you and jacke93, IIRC, but maybe with my old nicks FeuerImLoch or HazukaShii)

Also, you forgot in your list:

- you know XSAX LTU's ICQ number, but never have contacted him with it

I mean, if we want to think of old times, we really cannot ignore XSAX's past of teamkilling, "GAY WIN))", and of course, teamsays with text "gay)) esteel))" when esteel was in the OTHER team.

Really, you should take XSAX as honorary member

I don't know who any of those players are, and I've been playing since 2.1.

The old community was the best though, even when I was a newb, nobody ever called me out on it. Now, I'm called a newb regardless of skill level :/

I havent said, that 2.0 was best ... best one was 2.3

why do you list old bots who are usually inactive ?

1. would it make sense to list old players, which are still active and everyone knows?
2. jacke93 wasnt BOT?! xD

The really oldskool players I remember, are tChr, daedalus, diomedes, dIM, morfar, esteel, Luna, kyre, Strahlemann etc
