Just signed up after playing this fantastic and FREE game!

Just wanted to say well done on such an awesome project. Brilliant! I was astonished at the amount of next gen content you have integrated into the Q1 engine. Brill!

The only observation I would make is to beef up the weapon sounds. They're too 'soft and fuzzy' for my liking. I would create some myself, but i'm pretty clueless on this sort of thing. I'm just a simple End User!

Anyway. That's all I wanted to say really. I'm really impressed with what you have done. Once again, congrats!!

LOL. I thin kyou know the real meaning of FREE The devs won't need any infuence of cash to make new sounds

Anyway, speaking in the world of the whole community, welcome aboard, and we're glad that you like Nexuiz.

its free (no money), yes....
but also its free (gpl) which means that you easily can modify some contents by yourself and release a patch to change the sounds for example (tChr has made an alternative laser sound for example).

if you feel yourself to create personnal weapon sounds, for sure you'll easily find some help there to create a patch (it's easy, really )

I could create sounds yeah. I'm not the most creative soul on here! I'm fairly OK with messing with Quake engine file structures, so it's not a mammoth task.

I'll see if there are any freeware sound effects laying about. Then i'll maybe tinker and resample. We'll see how creative i'm feeling!

Anyway, my handle on the servers is PatchMan. So be sure to say hello just before you blast me into a thousand gibs!!

OK. I had a mess about and replaced the grenade launcher, shotgun and uzi sounds. If you want them then let me know. My creative juices are flowing now, so i'm gonna do a few more.

I have bugger all file hosting set up. Either PM me or gimme your Email here. Just done the 'railgun' (long blue thing). I'm quite hapy with that, my best one yet!

Just gonna re-do the shotgun, not happy with it.

Feel free to ask for help aobut hosting files related to Nexuiz! A lot of ppl here are server and/or webadmins too, so hosting isn't a problem either.
