Port-O-Launch effect question

Is DarkPlaces/Nexuiz able to render the portals created by the Port-O-Launch just like in Valve's "Portal", allowing one to see what is happening beyond one portal by looking into the other one?

Currently not supported and I hope it never will be.

Because nexuiz is so goddamn fast, it would serve no practical purpose and programming it would be a waste of time and resources.

Well its working extremely fast in quake 3 too :P it would only be very usable and fun if you could shoot rockets through the teleport

I mean the fact that you can send projectiles through the teleporter.

not yet, nexuiz doesn't support stencil shading yet, or the physics for it.

I thought it was available already.... mirrors are possible, i'm halucinating a clever developer could be able to do that; redirecting reflections....

it is done in portal, and portalized, by creating a camera pointing away from the wall and then sending that to the stencil buffer of the other portal, physics would also need to be redone for more portal/portalized movement through portals. the devs wont do with it, but i would like to see it happen, i want to help take nex away from q3a and implement different styles of play instead of just frag fest.
