A possible cool Nexuiz feature

I was playing the newest version of Sauterbraten one time and saw how it implemented Ragdoll Physics into the game. They have done it really well and it makes the game in my opinion feel better overall. I was wondering that maybe a possible new feature which could be implemented into nexuiz be Ragdoll Physics. It could be that you would have ragdoll physics happen to you model when it dies from less powerful weapons like the shotgun or machine gun. With more powerful weapons of course, the models just explodes with gore(like from weapons such as the rocketlauncher, grenade launcher and such). I just think that this might be a neat addition to Nexuiz if it could be done. What do you guys think?

i think this is working on being implemented.

also, i had an idea that whether ragdoll physics is used for death or not is based on the amount og extra damage done to you. like if you have 10 health, and get hit by 12 damage, you die with ragdoll physics, whereas if you have 10 health and take 50 damage, you explode into pieces.

Afaik ragdoll is not planned for nexuiz, quite simply players die to often for it to be a major thing. nexuiz is more abt what happens while your still alive. That said, fake ragdoll an still be implemented (somewhat) easily based on damage direction - If someone steps up and does the necessary animations for it.
