1. Open Notepad
2. Paste: ÿþMSMSMS
3. Save
4. Open the file in Notepad again
You can vary the number of "MS", so you can clearly see it's MS which is causing it.

Neat. Something to do with ragdoll physics stuff maybe?
Possibly not the worst mapper in the world.

Because it has a C interface and Bullet does not.

You guys really know how to keep yourselves busy, huh. This is some truly amazing stuff. FWIW, here's what I did in order to get the library loading in Debian Lenny: installed libode-dev (pulling in libode0-dev and libode0debian1), added libode.so.0debian1 to dllnames and commented out dGetConfiguration, dCheckConfiguration, dSweepAndPruneSpaceCreate since those functions were missing.
