anyone use filezilla?

i have this problem where filezilla disconnects after like 30 seconds. i have found a way to keep filezilla connected to the server, by trying to upload a file that already exists. the overwrite prompt keeps the connection going.

i was wondering if anybody else uses filezilla and by chance has found a way to adjust this in the preferences somehow.

i play nexuiz/xonotic too much to hang around other forums asking this.

I actually tried Filezilla a while back and didn't like it at all. I use SmartFTP around $25 which is great, and also use the free Firefox add-on FTP, also great and free, unfortunately I didn't find out about it until after I had purchsed SmartFTP.
