I won't vote even once, even though I could in a snap vote from 300 different IPs, due to my position as admin of an university computer pool (about 60 IPs), some servers (about 10 IPs), subnets reserved for WLAN (62 IPs and 126 IPs) and LOTS of unused IPs in various subnets.
Such things are cheating, and if I made such a poll and found out people are doing that, I'd cancel the poll and replace it by links to evidence showing how "fair" certain gaming communities are (forum threads, stats showing stuff like "wget", "libwww-perl", "curl" or unexpected dominance of minority browsers like lynx, w3m, links).
That would be quite some negative PR, wouldn't it? Wouldn't one think that people who cheat in a poll "because it's simple" would also use hacked device drivers and aimbots when "they are easy to get"? Who would want to play in a gaming community which tolerates and endorses cheating?
