everytime i do ctrl+alt+f7 to get back to x, my computer just hangs, i left it that way all night and through school and it did nothing yesterday... i know this is a annoying issue for the developers but i think im just gonna say fuck it with this game...

As i said you also seem to have problem with other games.. if you now want to blame Nexuiz for that well do so but i doubt you will have success with that.

i never said i have problems with other games. the only other game is warsow (.2) which doesn't even have a 64bit binary.

Since mentioned you have an ATI card: starting Nexuiz with "+r_glsl 0" might prevent that crash...

Edit: and using "run -window" (starts in windowed mode) in gdb might also work, so you don't have to switch to another console. (but it doesn't always work, you might end up with a crashed Nexuiz window, that still has mouse & keyboard grabbed)

Damn, if r_glsl 0 helped, it WAS the graphics driver again... but "good" to hear that other games are affected as well. Can you name some more titles with this problem so we can annoy AMD/ATI with it, HOPING this will eventually make them make a new driver version that does not crash all the time?

i don't have issues with any other games THAT HAVE a 64bit binary, warsow for example doesn't have a 64bit binary, and thats why i cant play it.
