Damn, if r_glsl 0 helped, it WAS the graphics driver again... but "good" to hear that other games are affected as well. Can you name some more titles with this problem so we can annoy AMD/ATI with it, HOPING this will eventually make them make a new driver version that does not crash all the time?

1. Open Notepad
2. Paste: ÿþMSMSMS
3. Save
4. Open the file in Notepad again
You can vary the number of "MS", so you can clearly see it's MS which is causing it.
