On Windows you can produce those characters by holding down the alt key and typing the ascii number with the num-pad and releasing alt then.

;) With emacs you can procude those characters by pressing C-q and typing the octal number and enter. If you customize read-quoted-char-radix to 10 or 16 you can enter the ascii or hex number instead ;)

Well actually only one config file is there. config.cfg which holds your personal settings.
All other files like the low.cfg mentioned in the thread are inside the large 'data*.pk3' files inside Nexuiz/data
But i used that reminder to clean up the first post a bit and throw out lots of old stuff. Also added Xenos page as it makes that font stuff really easy. thanks for it.

I just wanted to mention that I've cleaned up my config page a bit and added some javascript to the team message page to facilitate the keybinding (no text file hacking required now).

Could someone please have a look at the drop-down menus (only one... they're all from the same variable (oxymoron, hehe)) of the team-message form and let me know if I missed any bindable keys. Thanks.

If gave the drop down menus a quick spin and they seem to work. But what be very cool would be to have some java script for the font image so you can just click on it instead of looking for row and column ;)

I've thought about that before too... I'll see what I can do.

EDIT: I'm managed to write some script to detect the relative position of the mouse within an image in firefox but, as usual, internet *ssf*ck explorer refuses to cooperate. I'm not sure if it's worth the effort to find a workaround.

Also, when I first created that page, I looked at using javascript for the hex converter but there were limitations in rendering characters in the first two rows (charcodes 00-1F) (I don't think that I found a way to do that... I think it was an internal limitation, but I haven't done enough javascript to know for sure).

If anyone has a cross-browser workaround that can handle all the characters, let me know.
