hay... i hope i dont sound silly if i say that i cant find any of those folders or scripts for changing the nickname-"font"
is there a explanation for idiots that i could understand? oh, and im on a mac, maybe thats the problem. or not? i cant type in the "name" special characters like "áâãäåæçèéêëìíîïðñòóôõö÷øùú
" but i can type them in the chat... help please :/

yep, i did, but it still doesnt work because i cant paste special characters... as i know i need to write those letters (áâãäåæçèéêëìíîïðñòóôõö÷øùú) like this:

So you say, you use the hexa converter, and can"t copy-paste those characters? Weird.

Hmm were are you trying to enter those characters? in the menu or the console? i THINK both should work.. if not just find the config file config.cfg and add it to the end.

yep i tried both :/ everytime i try to paste (apple + v) i type a "v" into the console.
i did a search for config.cfg ony thing that maches was server.cfg

apple-v might not work.. i know it does not work in linux but in windows.. maybe it also does not work on mac.
config.cfg is in ~/.nexuiz/data meaning its some hidden directory in your homedirectory. But i have no clue about mac so i can't tell you how to find that. Its created the first time you start and close nexuiz.

if anyone here is a mac user and knows how to do that please tell me..

press shift+command+G, or select Menubar -> Go -> Connect to folder...
to bring up a 'go to the folder:' dialog

enter

~/.nexuiz

This folder should now appear in finder, with a slightly faded icon.

To return to this folder in the future, select Menubar -> Go -> Recent Folders

hey wow, that helped me a lot
only problem now is that if i type "éíïî" into

some very different symbols appear. ...

and if i enter "hex code" only the code appears.
