Hehe, weapons were on top of the walls like this in the 'original' greatwall too. Just the general placement was number of the weapons was different.

Looks nicer :).
Could something be done about the map-edge walls... they look... boxmappy. We have to feel like we are somewhere...

So we're on an alien planet and it's nighttime. Where are we with regards to the edgewalls? Maybe it should be a canyon, make the edgewalls canyony (requires more polys ofcourse)?

Maybe there is a lava waterfall from a part of the canyon spilling into the greatwall center?. (or it's part of a lava river that makes another little canyon?)

I've played the version with the water tunnel too, could that be added aswell to the next version of reloaded maybe?

once the pc-max tourney is over and the PN.de CTF server runs again I will eventually put that map into the CTF mappool

Sorry, I'm not planning another version of this map.
Sure the place looks boxy, but realy, who cares? Hopefully the map runs nuff fluent, no need to add more poly, just to look better if it would run slower. I'm not against dedatils, sure, the bases coud use some more fancy colors, trims, whetever, but gameplay wise, they mean nothing.

LOL, hehe, somebody has found the easter egg ;)

If you've read the first post, you shold know that there was an original Greatwall map from Shoe, and I've remade it from scratch. And yes, the guy on the photo is me :P

There I was, expecting a wall of large German women named Greta in the middle... boy was I disappointed (reference to thread topic... read carefully).

Right? So? Do I get some cookies now? Or a pie? Or two pies? Or two pies and some cookies?
