It has more potential then most.....and i've seen literally a SHEDLOAD of maps that look quite good..play wise, im going to take a look tonight through them and suggest 1 or 2 here.

Tzzz Soylent is a spacemap to and its in the ladder and you like the map if i understand Dim right

Basically I don't like Spacemaps, however, this argument doesn't count because it is subjective. The main points to reject that map was it's bad FPS-performance, and it really didn't look interesting for me either... you know, I hate these "(small) platform" spacemaps such as cbctf1, Dismal, etc., they are usually poorly designed and are only suitable for FFA-playing. Soylent is different in this aspect, it plays much better.
