How to challenge a player ?

I registered on the ladder, then I log in, I can see "my matches" (empty of course)...
I've read the help topics, visited every page, and I don't understand how to invite someone to play with me.

For sure I missed a very large button "Challenge a Player !"... if someone could tell me where it is...

I'm sorry, but you have NOT visited (and completely read) every page. Because this would mean that you have also read the "help" page which explains it like this:

You will need the rankings page to challenge other players. This can be done by clicking the X beside their names. You will only be able to challenge the player, if:

Maybe this X should be exchanged with challange that would be more obvious even witout reading the help

I agree with esteel, I couldn't find the challenge button and I already knew its location.
Challenging is the most common function of the ladder, and it would be easier if it were more visible.

I would just suggest a little thing for the ranking page to be more readable. I don't know how your pages are coded, but i think it shouldn't be very difficult.

Hmm i have no idea how you will do the thing but remeber that you can toggle between two values quite easily by subtracting the current value from the sum of the two..
Exampe: values 7 and 9 (sum = 16), current = 7..
current = 16 - current (7) = 9.. use 9 as color
current = 16 - current (9) = 7.. use 7 as color
current = 16 - current (7) = 9.. use 9 as color
and so on..
