Negative scores when rockets are blown up.

I dont mind my opponent getting frags but getting negative frags when rockets are blown up is a f***ing drag... in the case me vs xant it shifted the total result from 59 - 10 to 55 - 6, wich is quite a difference in the ladder.

I know this is recognized as a valid tactic, but as long as this is not implemented as positive score for the ataccer in Nexuiz, should it be allowed to compensate for this when applying the result to the ladder reports?

That's already fixed in 1.5. When someone blows up your rocket, it becomes his frag. This is really hard to test, but it should work.
The only way you can blow up rockets in you face is, when YOU detonate an ENEMY's rocket right next to you... But in that case you deserve it imho :P

I played both esteel and xant on nexdm05 today and their mortars constantly detonated my rockets. I might have hit their grenades in mid-air with my rocket, but 4 times in a game? dont think so... :) at least i dont h0ope so...

I guess you kust underestimated the rocket's splashdamage :P
Well at least least that "hitting rockets with grenades in midair" thing is no longer possible in 1.5.1 because (primary) grenades will no longer have a hitbox.
btw: the "whoever triggers the rocket get's the frag" applies to grenades as well... So if your splashdamage blows up his grenade, he'll get the frag.

Anyways I'm quite sure the grenades getting off blew up my rockets on several occations.. meaning my rocket exploding < 1 sec after firing just at the same time as the grenade blew, and me not being close to triggering the rocket, causing -1 for me :) Just calling it like it is :)

Edit:
I've been testing a bit and it does seem like the rocket actuually hits the grenade.. very often, but also very close (to the RL).. .. also woth electroblobs this happen quite a lot.
