Minstagib ladder

Just wanna start a discussion to get things running (guess why)

As I already experienced it's not that big fun to do the minstagib 1on1 in the classical mode. I could imagine a frag after let's say 5 hits or more would be like much more exciting.

What do you think about that?

Instagib is "insta" gib and not "insta/5" gib! And I don't think creating too many ladders makes any sense. a 2on2 minstagib ladder does make sense...but 1on1 minstagib ? I don't think so.

Yes, right, boss. Yet I like the idea of that game mod very much although I haven't seriously experienced it. But the fights should be a hell of a fun

Well, team minstagib... should be as boring as 1on1 minstagib. IMO fun at the minstagib only becoming fun when there are more than 3 players in a classical death match manner.

I would really love a 1on1 minstagib ladder. If there is one hit to kill or 5 hits for one kill is uninteresting for me.

A one on one ladder for minstagib would be really great. I would be the first member.

But in one thing i agree with green marine. It is called minstagib not minstagib/5.

In my opininion it would be better to rise the frags that are needed to win a match. Maybe 50 frags, this could be a good rate for an 10 minutes match.

Please make such an ladder.

True that it'd be funny to have a nex-only ladder. In that one i could stick the real bottom of the rankings Also there are a lot of very good players who only play minstagib (like secm or shaolin monks). I think they'd like to have a nex-only-ladder, as for some they really suck in standard deathmatch and do never play it (no i won't give names )

Notice that i didn't say minstagib ladder, but nex-only ladder... as urmel's idea seem good to me and you seem to be sticked on a vocabulary precision problem.
But if you need 5 shots per kill, and it is one on one, something as to be adapted about the amount of ammo, coz i can already see what'll happen : there will be people who control ammo, avoid more than possible the oppenant's shots, and finally wait that the oppenant kill himself coz of a lack of ammo.


Anyway green, from a php point of view... If the multiladder system is ready, i assume creating a new ladder is rather easy now... doesn't it ?

creating ladders is infact very easy. It requires, however, the initial work to think about news texts, ladder rules and the mappool for that ladder which makes it "hard" again ^^.
